EuroReels NFT Collectibles Marketplace
Summary
EuroReels is an NFT Collectibles Marketplace showcasing the greatest video highlight reels from EuroLeague Basketball on the blockchain. It includes reels from renowned sporting clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, Bayern Munich, Monaco, Fenerbahce, Olympiacos, and others.
The project involved a comprehensive lift and shift approach where my primary task was to refresh the existing design language. This encompassed creating a versatile design/component system, and I also developed additional marketing elements, including new landing pages (LPs) and email marketing designs. A crucial aspect of the project was ensuring that all components were prepared for seamless integration into a React backend system.
Challenge
The challenge was to seamlessly transition the existing design system, providing a clear and understandable handoff of components for a non-design literate development team. My primary objectives encompassed a dual focus: firstly, to revamp the existing design system with a new, fresh visual aesthetic, and secondly, to strive for the creation of a comprehensive experience tailored for NFT holders. The overarching aim was to present information in the most visually appealing manner, looking for opportunities to add sizzle to the experience and thereby enhance the overall engagement and satisfaction of the NFT holders within the platform.

Solution
I made a key decision to build a complete component library in Webflow. This library served as both a testing server to showcase site architecture and a reliable source of design truth. Each component was carefully annotated and categorized, ensuring clarity and accessibility for the entire team. This decision streamlined collaboration and provided a solid foundation for the development phase.
Results
In meeting the goals and needs of our target users and customers, our pre-sale email marketing campaign played a pivotal role, resulting in a significant number of sign-ups. The success extended to our first NFT drop, which witnessed substantial sales. The effectiveness of our email marketing efforts was evident in successfully building a waiting list. Additionally, the "BetaPass" initial sale proved to be a successful venture, contributing to the overall achievement of our objectives.
